Wilcox Lake
Lake Wilcox Park is a waterfront park with numerous amenities and the Oak Ridges Community Centre. Lake Wilcox is located in the Oak Ridges community at the headwaters of the East Humber River. It is the largest kettle lake on the Oak Ridges Moraine and is home to a variety of wildlife and fish. It's also a great place for our community to participate in fun activities.
Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts
Located in the heart of the historic downtown, the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts (RHCPA) is a 4,000 square metre, 631 seat, state of the art cultural facility that offers a full season of professional entertainment celebrating the many cultures of York Region. The Centre is also home to Richmond Hill’s diverse arts community, creating a major venue in the downtown core to bring Canadian and International performers to the area.
The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts provides an attractive destination in the downtown core that enriches and entertains local, regional and national audiences. A Centre of extraordinary quality that encourages actor/audience relationships, embraces the passionate use of language, celebrates Canadian talent and ignites the imagination that engages our community.
David Dunlap Observatory
The Richmond Hill David Dunlap Observatory (RHDDO), designated under the Ontario Heritage Act and a national historic designation, is proudly owned by the City of Richmond Hill and is located at 123 Hillsview Drive. Although plans are currently underway for the transformation of the RHDDO property into a unique destination park, it operates today as a facility for public education and appreciation through a variety of City-run programs and partnerships. Surrounded by beautiful trails, the site is home to the historic Administration Building, Observatory Park and the Observatory Dome* that houses the iconic 74" telescope.
Bond Lake
Bond Lake is part of the Oak Ridges Corridor Conservation Reserve (ORCCR), an important ecological linkage on the Oak Ridges Moraine. Located in Richmond Hill, the ORCCR property is dominated by mature forests, wetlands, meadows, kettle lakes, and a network of recreational trails. Bond Lake is one of the many kettle lakes in the area.
Visitors are able to use the trails to enjoy the natural beauty of the ORCCR while protecting the integrity of the surrounding ecosystem.
Mill Pond Gallery
The Mill Pond Gallery is home to the Richmond Hill Group of Artists. Shows are changed regularly, showcasing the work of individual or a small group of artists. Our talented members work includes a wide range of mediums, styles and themes. The Mill Pond Gallery is located in the heart of historic Richmond Hill, across from the beautiful Mill Pond Park.
Phyllis Rawlinson Park
Phyllis Rawlinson Park is Richmond Hill's largest Oak Ridges Moraine park. The land was donated to Richmond Hill by Phyllis Rawlinson, a long-time resident of the City. Phyllis Rawlinson Park is the perfect place for outdoor events of all sorts, from large family reunions to romantic picnics for two. Fire pits located in the park are for City registered programs only. Significant historic structures on-site, such as the original farmhouse and barn (York Region's oldest designated buildings), help make this park the special place it is.
Richmond Green Sports Centre and Park
The Richmond Green Sports Centre is the largest park in Richmond Hill. It boasts a 440 metre landscaped inline skating trail that transforms into an outdoor ice skating surface in the winter. Besides enjoying access to numerous amenities, you can also take a self-guided peaceful walk along the Richmond Green Heritage Walk, showcasing a variety of Richmond Hill's legacies. There are also seasonal bocce courts.

Oak Ridges Corridor Conservation Reserve Trail
Located in Richmond Hill, this 175-plus hectare property is dominated by mature forests, wetlands, meadows, kettle lakes, and a significant network of recreational trails. Local residents and visitors can use ORCCR’s extensive trail system to enjoy the natural beauty of the area while protecting the integrity of the surrounding ecosystem.
