Things to do in Nobleton

Cold Creek Conservation Area

Cold Creek Conservation Area is located 3.5km North of King Road at 14125 11th Concession, South of the 16th Sideroad, in Nobleton, Ontario. Visit anytime to enjoy over 7km of marked nature trails. The main gates are open from 8:30am to 4:30pm 7 days a week (closed holidays and some long weekends). Outside of operating hours, guests can park their vehicles outside of the main gates and follow the trail maps for hours of enjoyment.

Lifestyle

Nobleton residents enjoy an ever growing amount of shopping and services including grocery stores, a mix of restaurants, health and wellness providers, medical and dental clinic, banking and a host of services catering to families including, including groceries and a variety of restaurants. Services span multiple sectors, some of which are banking, wealth management, accountants, real estate, printing & graphic design. Specialty services include day care, tutoring, karate and dance, animal services and day care.

Homes

The urban core of Nobleton centred around King Road and Highway 27 contains a small number of heritage homes. Most of the housing stock at the core consists of ranch-style bungalows and split-level homes built in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Surrounding the core are random pockets of new home subdivisions from the 1980s 90s, 2000s and 2010s. Many of these homes have traditional Georgian and Colonial architecture and are quite spacious on good size lots. Most have a double car garage and some even have three car garages.

Recreation

Nobleton’s recreational facilities are for the most part conveniently clustered in the downtown core off Old King Road. Here you will find the Dr. William Laceby Community Centre and Arena. This

facility includes year-round programming for all ages. Some of the activities offered here include: hockey, pleasure and power skating, and curling.

At the adjacent Nobleton Community Park residents can partake in numerous activities including: swimming, tennis, volleyball, soccer, baseball and basketball. Nobleton residents also get to enjoy the Cold Creek Conservation Area located off 11th concession, south of 16th sideroad. Here you will find 6.5 KM of trails that are perfect for nature hikes and exercise walks.
